Will you charge sales tax on my order?
Currently, Sales Tax is only charged within the state of New York. All other states do not pay sales tax.
How can I check the status of my order?
Our system sends automated emails when your order's status is changed. When you placed your order you should receive a confirmation email with the order status "Processing". When we ship your item, you will get another status update with the shipping details.
You can check your order status anytime by visiting the order tracking page. Enter your order ID and and click "track my order" button. The instructions will be sent to your registered email address if you placed your order as a guest. Alternatively, if you registered an user account, you can login with your user credentials.
What payment options do I have?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, Paypal, and Google Checkout for all orders placed on Appealingweddingband.com. You will be prompted to give us information about your method of payment at the appropriate point in the checkout process. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accept layaways and we also do not have any product financing options available.

Can you ship to my PO Box or do I need a physical address?
Appealing Wedding Band primarily uses UPS because it provides a traceable and insured method of shipment. Deliveries can be made to P.O. Boxes. All shipments require a telephone number and an address as well as a specification whether it is a business or residential address. All shipments require a signature, without a signature UPS will not complete the delivery. Therefore, the shipping address must be one where someone will be available to sign for the package. We offer several shipping options: UPS Ground; UPS Priority 2 Day (U.S. Addresses Only); Saturday Delivery; UPS Express Overnight (Standard Overnight Delivery).
How long before the wedding date do I need to order?
We suggest ordering as far in advance of your wedding date as possible. Since all rings are crafted to your specification after your order, delivery times can vary from 5 to 10 business days. Depending on your choice you might return the ring or resizing might be required. Therefore, starting the ordering process one to two months ahead of your wedding date is recommended.
What is your delivery time for the rings?
Appealing Wedding Bands makes every effort to ship your order in a prompt manner. The majority of the orders can be shipped within 3-5 business days. However, if you requested certain sizes or materials or if you have made alterations to your selection; processing time may be delayed with up to 7-10 business days. Appealing Wedding Bands will notify you by email of any delays in your order. Customers living in the U.S. or in U.S. territories which opt for ground shipping should receive their orders within 4 to 7 business days. Contact the Customer Service Department by using the Live Help button or call us to inquire about shorter delivery time.
How can I track my order while it is being shipped?
Our system sends an automated email when we ship your item. You should receive an email with the tracking information.

Do I have to be there when the package is delivered?
A signature is required for the delivery of all packages. The addressee may need proof of identification. Any adult in the home may sign for Accountable Mail, unless it is marked “Restricted Delivery”. At the retail window, any adult with a Photo ID that shows the same last name or the same address may pick up the mailed piece unless it is marked “Restricted Delivery”. Any individual may pick up mail for someone else (including restricted delivery) if it has been indicated on Standing Delivery Order (Form 3801) or the authorization (PS Form 3849). If you have any concerns about the delivery of your order, please feel free to contact us or your local USPS. Restricted Delivery is optional for your order without any added cost and permits delivery only to the recipient or recipient’s authorized agent. If you will not be home to pick up your package, we are happy to ship it to your work. Please have the credit card holder call us at 1-877-209-3558 to authorize the alternate shipping address so that it will not delay the processing of your order.
You have sent me the wrong ring, what should I do?
Appealing Wedding Band apologizes for any inconvenience that we may have caused and it will be taken care of it diligently. Please e-mail the Return Authorization Department at email@example.com or call the Customer Service Department at (877)-209-3558 and also explain the situation. How do I return my ring to get it sized or exchanged? What if I would like to change the style?
All returns must be in their original packaging and must not exhibit signs of being worn or mistreated. All returns and exchanges are handled via e-mail. Please e-mail the Return Authorization Department at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Customer Service Department at (877)-209-3558. You will be e-mailed an RMA number within 1 business day.
A full merchandise refunds will be issued within three days of receipt of an acceptably returned merchandise, less original shipping costs (if the FREE shipping option was selected for the original shipment, there will be a charge of $25 to cover the original shipping costs) and any applicable refinishing fees. It may take up to 10 days for the credit to show up on your bank account. Appealing Wedding Band is not responsible for loss or damage of return shipments. Please insure and package carefully.

Can I return or exchange a ring that has been engraved or has a special finish?
Engraving or texture does make the ring a custom order and so it can not be returned or exchanged.
My ring no longer fits. Can it be resized?
Finger sizes change over the years, and rings need resizing for a comfortable fit. Rings are made smaller by cutting out a section, shaping the ring to the smaller size, and welding the gap. Rings are made larger by cutting the ring, reshaping the ring to the size required, and filling in the gap. Some rings may be slightly enlarged by stretching, but stretching is not advisable with cast rings or rings with a variable cross-section.
If I order my ring and it does not fit me can I it be resized?
All products of Appealing Wedding Bands are resizable except a few rings that have several diamonds or special design pattern. If the wedding ring you ordered does not fit your finger , you can return it once within thirty (30) days from the date shipped to be resized or exchanged for the proper size. We can size rings up to 1 size difference. Hand made braided rings can be sized 0.5 up or down. You can check our Ring Sizing page for more information. Resizing will take approximately 2-5 business days, excluding the shipping time. We do not provide shipping cost for resizing a ring.
How do I determine my ring size?
Your safest way to determine ring size is by using Ring Sizer which allows you accurate determination of your ring size. Ring Sizer also provides you comparing your previous ring on the screen to determine your size. Remember that fingers are a little larger in hot weather, smaller in cold weather, therefore, measure your finger when it is large at the end of the day. Alternative ways are to measure your ring size in the comfort of your own home (we can supply you with a set of plastic sized rings) or to determine your ring size by your local jeweler.
What is the advantage of Ring Sizer?
Since you will provide us with the exact perimeter of your finger, we can customize your ring to fit perfectly to your finger. Appealing Wedding Band provides this unique service to their customers to avoid common ring size problems.
I know my ring size in other international measurements. How can I find out to convert it to American measurements?
Appealing Wedding Bands has a helpful International Ring Size Converter to help convert international measurements to American measurement. International Ring Size converter is available for British, French, Japanese, German and Swiss ring sizes. My ring size is between two ring sizes, how can I order a ring in my size?
If your ring size is between two sizes, place your order to the closest LARGER size. For instance, if your size is between 5.75 and 6, place your order as a ring size of 6 and specify your exact ring size on the Checkout Form. In this case, we recommend you to determine the circumference when your finger is largest at the end of the day and specify it in order to have perfect fit.
What is the difference between Comfort-fit and non Comfort-fit?
Many wedding bands are available in a comfort-fit style, which means extra metal is used to make the inside of the band slightly domed, resulting in a very comfortable fit. Although comfort-fit wedding bands are more expensive than non comfort-fit bands, we strongly recommend them for widths of 5mm and wider. On widths of 4mm or less, the comfort-fit advantage is not as noticeable. The comfort-fit is especially recommended for men, because it is easier to squeeze over a large knuckle when putting your ring on or taking it off, and it's much more comfortable to wear once it's on.
You have sent me the wrong sized ring, what should I do?

If I have my finger sized at a local jeweler, will your sizes match?
Sizes at your local jeweler in the U.S. or in U.S. territories are mostly identical to our sizes. Appealing Wedding Bands has its own Ring Sizing tool in order to determine ring size accurately. Read more about how to accurately determine your ring size.
How do I accurately determine my ring size?
Ring sizing is supposed to be universal. However, many couples have visited a local jeweler to have their ring sizes determined, only to discover later that a ring in that size is not a perfect fit. This may not be the fault of any particular party involved, but just please be aware that there can be some variance in determining a proper ring size. Many retail jewelry stores use metal ring sizing sets and they generally come in a narrow width for women and wider width for men. Most of these sizers are not rounded on the inside so the fit and feel of a comfort-fit style ring may be different from the feel of the sizers. And since wider rings fit more tightly than narrow rings, the width of the ring you choose can also be a big factor in how a ring fits and feels. When determining the size of a ring, jewelers use the tool called a ring mandrel.
We would determine the size of the lower ring to be a size 10, and the upper ring to be a size 6. While most jewelers will use the bottom or leading edge of the ring to determine the size, as we do, others may use the middle of the ring. They may also determine the size for a tapered ring or a comfort-fit ring in a slightly different manner than for a ring that is not comfort-fit. There are also slight variances between ring mandrels, even those that come from the same manufacturer.

Where do I put my engraving information?
Once you pick your item, you will be able to choose a drop down option to let you plug in your engraving information and preference. The inside of most wedding bands from 2 mm to 12 mm wide can hold up to 32 characters and spaces. This includes letters, characters, spaces and punctuation. Unfortunately, we cannot engrave inside of some diamond bands such as Eternity Bands. The shank is too narrow and the inside is already stamped with the metal and diamond weight. Ring styles that are 7 mm and wider can sometimes hold 2 lines of engraving for longer messages.
Can I find 100% white pure gold (Fine Gold)?
Gold is originally a yellow metal. It is alloyed with base metals in order to alter its hardness and ductility, melting point, color and other properties. Pure white gold, therefore, doesn’t exist. Appealing Wedding Bands offers 14-karat and 18-karat white gold. This means that either 14 or 18 parts out of 24 of the actual metal are gold. What is a carat or carat weight?
The term carat (with a “c”) is used to measure the weight of a diamond. A carat is a unit of weight equaling 1/5 of a gram. The weight of small diamonds is frequently expressed in points, with one point equaling 0.01 ct (carat) or ctw (carat weight)). In the diamond district you might also hear the term grainer. This is a word that is used to describe the weight of diamonds in multiples of 0.25 ct. A four grainer, for example, equals to a 1 ctw diamond. What are the 4C’S?
The 4C’s stand for Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat and determine diamond pricing. It was developed by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in the 1950’s. The 4C’s system to value a gem provides a clever and convenient way to explain gem pricing, which is why it’s still the most frequently used pricing system. Can you get "Conflict Free" diamonds?
Appealing Wedding Bands has a great source for certified diamonds of Canadian origin. Appealing Wedding Bands doesn’t have “blood” or “conflict” diamonds. You can buy our wedding bands and rings with confidence because we don’t sell conflict diamonds. Is there a way to prevent an allergic reaction to a gold ring?
An allergic reaction to a gold ring can often (but not always) be prevented by plating the inside of the ring with rhodium. Appealing Wedding Bands will be glad to provide this service if it is requested. The rhodium plating wears against the skin, and needs to be re-done every few years. An alternative solution might be to buy 18K gold which has ¾ gold and ¼ other materials. It is less likely to cause a reaction in people who are allergic to metals alloyed with gold.

In 2000, a coalition of governments, non-governmental organizations and the diamond industry worked together to address the issue of conflict diamonds. In 2002, they established the Kimberley Process Certification System, a UN-backed process that has virtually eliminated the trade in conflict diamonds. What are “Blood” or “Conflict” Diamonds?
Diamonds which are illegally traded to fund warfare in Africa may be called “conflict” or “blood” diamonds.
