Diamond Grading Reports

Although you may know the importance of getting a certificate or a diamond grading report and you as a responsible consumer end up getting one, the sad fact is that you may not be able to figure out what is mentioned on the diamond grading report unless you happen to be a jeweler.

D, E and F indicate on the color grading scale that the diamond has no color. G, H, and I mean that it has a slight shade of color. J, K, and L indicate that it is slightly yellowish in color. P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X mean that it is a dark yellow diamond. Z indicates a fancy colored diamond other than yellow or white. D is the most valuable on the color grading scale, while X is the least valuable. Diamonds having a Z rating are the most expensive and the rarest diamonds in the world.

It can be quite difficult and confusing to understand a grading report, as there are several aspects to it. By speaking to a trustworthy jeweler you can have them explain everything that exists on the diamond grading report.
